electronic function test

  • function test defined is the test of the functional requirements of products.
Usually it is about the evidence that the promised technical product characteristics are met. In addition to the required electrical safety tests relevant function tests are necessary. In our case the function test is carried out after the successful safety test during the final test after the prototype has been manufactured.

In addition to a simple current consumption test also resistances and all parameters of the performance measurement can be acquired. By means of simple modules can our test devices be extended with these additional functions.

    In-Circuit Test, ICT
In-Circuit Test, ICT is a form of ATE is very effective form to test printed circuit boards. It can find short circuits, open circuits, component values, and it can checks the operation of ICs.

    Functional test
When the function of the circuit is tested it is known as Functional test. Functional test typically interface to the PCB or device under test via its test-probe points or edge connectors. This testing is the simulation of the final environment in which the PCB is meant to function. The test equipment can be chassis or rack based or test equipment which uses GPIB.

    PCB Troubleshooting
Printed circuit boards, or PCBs, are a mass of insulators and copper traces that connect densely packed components together to create a modern circuit. Troubleshooting a multi-layer PCB is often quite a challenge, with factors such as size, number of layers, signal analysis, and types of components playing a large role in the ease of troubleshooting. Some more complicated boards will require specialized equipment to properly troubleshoot, but most troubleshooting can be done with basic electronic equipment to follow traces, currents, and signals through the circuit.

    PCB Failure Analysis
PCB Failure Analysis: Identification and Testing of Defects
From cheap toys and smartphones to sophisticated computers and radar detector systems, printed circuit boards (PCB) are critical components for today’s electronic and industrial technology. Almost every electronic device has one of these self-contained modules of complex interconnected electronic components, which include resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes and fuses.
